Dwayne Polee Sr. resigns from post as Director of Basketball Operations at USC

Dwayne Polee Sr., who played for one season at UNLV in the early 1980s under Jerry Tarkanian, has resigned from his job as the Director of Basketball Operations at Southern California.

Polee had held the job since 2007, hired by former coach Tim Floyd, who now holds the same position at UTEP after leaving USC amid scandal following the 2008-09 season.

Polee's son, Dwayne Jr., committed to USC as a ninth-grader, but later re-opened his recruitment following Floyd's departure, and now a senior, he'll make his college choice known later this week.

He visited UNLV back in November, and according to his father, will commit to either Georgia, St. John's or Oregon.
