As always, this has been a busy week. As a new teacher, I am participating in the New Teacher Induction Program, which is a series of evening classes and conferences that help new teachers adjust to life in Clark County School District. We had our first meeting this Wednesday, and received an assignment to complete before our next meeting on October 8. I can't say that I'm surprised by the contents of the meeting, but I did feel a little bit like I was back in school myself.
As far as my classes are concerned, things are going pretty well so far. Not a lot to report or blog about this week, but next week is Open House, where I'll get to meet several of my students' parents, so that should be exciting.
