Motorcyclist killed on Boulder Highway

A 25-year-old Las Vegas man has died of injuries he sustained Tuesday night after a collision between his 1997 Honda CBR motorcycle and a 2001 Ford Taurus, the Clark County coroner's office said today.

Christopher Snyder was northbound on Boulder Highway from Flamingo Road, traveling in the left lane as David Bacus, 38, in the Tauru,s tried to make a U-turn from southbound Boulder Highway to the northbound lanes, Metro Police said. Bacus was not injured, police said.

The accident occurred about 6:56 p.m. when the motorcycle struck the Ford's right rear, Metro Police said. Snyder was thrown from the motorcycle.

The crash remains under investigation by Metro Police Accident investigation Section.
