Fewer than 4,000 people turned out Sunday, bringing the total early vote in Clark County up to a little more than 43,000 -- that's 6.2 percent. Add in the mail, ballots (11,129) and that becomes just below 8 percent.
The partisan breakdown:
Democrats: 7.6 percent
Republicans: 10.9 percent
Because today is a holiday, and turnout likely to be very low, the chances of a very low overall turnout seem to be increasing.
