The UNLV women’s soccer team continued a torrid start to its season with a 3-1 victory over Northern Colorado on Thursday night at Peter Johann Memorial Field.
That bumped the Rebels’ record to 8-2-1 and marked the first time in the program’s history that it won eight games before October.
Former Palo Verde High star Asheligh Shoughro, Niki Connolly and Brianna Moore scored for UNLV.
The Rebels play at UC-Riverside on Sunday at 6 p.m. They remain on the road for games at San Diego State (Oct. 3), BYU (Oct. 9) and Utah (Oct. 11). UNLV returns home to play Wyoming on Oct. 17.
