Vegas Play of the Day: Cleveland at Toronto

Here’s the latest installment of the Play of the Day, which uses odds from the South Point..

Our three sports writers started with a $10,000 bankroll — fictional, of course.

Cleveland at Toronto, Total Over 196.5: $550 to win $500 : I love playing games over the point total in the NBA on Fridays and Saturdays, strongly believing the players try harder on the weekends when more fans are interested.

But my hunch is not the lone reason — the numbers support this play.

Cleveland has scored more than 100 points in three of its last four games, including scoring 109 and 114 points. Toronto has scored more than 100 points in five of its last six games, including surrendering more than 100 points in three of those games. Hello, Over!
