Here’s the latest installment of the Play of the Day, which uses odds from South Point.
Our three sports writers started with a $10,000 bankroll — fictional, of course.
Milwaukee at Detroit, Total Over 205: $770 to win $700 Detroit has surrendered more than 100 points in six of its last eight games, including Saturday in a 123-98 loss to Philadelphia. Philly entered with a 20-plus game losing streak and is considered one of the worst teams in league history. Yet, the 76ers somehow scored at will against an awful Detroit team.
Milwaukee isn’t much better. Since Feb. 5, the Bucks have surrendered more than 100 points in 22 of 24 games.
Both Milwaukee and Detroit have few players on their rosters who should be in the NBA. This is more of a NBA D-League game with players auditions for jobs next season. They should light up the scoreboard all night.
Standings: Bern (17-11, $11,390), Keefer (14-14, $9,267), Brewer (9-15-3, $5,960)
