Los Angeles Angels minus-104 vs. Houston Astros: $312 to win $300
The Astros have been the biggest surprise of the season so far, surging out to an 18-7 record before dropping three straight to the Texas Rangers. That still leaves Houston five games ahead of the second-place Angels in the American League West.
Houston has done most of its damage on the road going 10-2 away from home, so basically I’m betting that this trend starts to even out tonight. The Astros aren’t a fluke, necessarily, but they’re definitely not this good.
On the other side, Los Angeles has been playing a lot of close games — four of its last six losses were by one run — so I feel like this one can be competitive with the home team making enough plays in the late innings to pull it out.
