Expanded hockey coverage
Morning skate was -- well -- morning skate at Rabobank Arena Saturday.
The Las Vegas Wranglers went through a normal slate of drills with about 10 players on the ice, while everyone else worked out in the training room.
Friday scratches Jason Dest and Mike Madill stayed on the ice the longest, alongside Tim Spencer. Perhaps one of them will return to the lineup tonight.
There is still no official word on who will man the crease tonight, but all signs point to John DeCaro. DeCaro had a lighter workout this morning, while Glenn Fisher remained on the ice to face shots from coach Glen Gulutzan and Spencer after everyone else had left.
Expect a tighter, more controlled game tonight as both teams are searching for the coveted 3-2 series lead.
