Rhodes Joins K | E Medical Group - Las Vegas

As part of its core mission to provide highly personalized, comprehensive healthcare by expanding its roster of prestigious, thought leading physicians, K | E Medical Group – Las Vegas proudly announces the addition of John Rhodes, MD to its roster of renowned multidiscipline physicians at its new southwestern valley facility at 8205 Warm Springs Road, across from St. Rose Dominican Hospital-San Martín campus.
Dr. Rhodes joins the team of Sean Ameli, MD, Berge Dadourian, MD, Paul Emery, MD, Ethan Cruvant, MD, Barry Nahin, MD, and Rama Harouni, MD and soon-to-be others in its mission to provide the Las Vegas community with the highest quality healthcare from a “one-stop” comprehensive multispecialty setting. This growing medical team provides patients convenient access to the full spectrum of services under one roof, from primary through specialty care as well as diagnostic and laboratory services.

“Dr. Rhodes is a highly experienced physician who has provided medical care for thousands of Southern Nevadans during his over 15 years of family practice in Las Vegas. During this time, he has garnered the respect of the medical community by serving on multiple hospital committees and boards, receiving several awards including the prestigious Compassionate Care Award presented by the Lili Claire Foundation,” Doctor said.

As a native Las Vegan, Dr. Rhodes has witnessed Southern Nevada’s tremendous growth as well as the community’s increased need for quality healthcare. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he played on the varsity tennis team until transferring to the University of Nevada, Reno as a premedical student majoring in biology and earning a bachelor’s of science degree. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Dr. Rhodes completed his internship and residency training in family medicine at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital and served as Chief Resident for the program. He has served as a community clinical instructor for the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
Dr. Rhodes has practiced family medicine in Las Vegas for over 15 years as an American Board of Family Medicine board-certified physician. He co-founded Canyon Trails Family Practice and Sports Medicine in 1997, and has served as both medical director and chief of staff at a local nursing home.
He has been actively involved in the Southern Nevada medical community while serving as a three-year member of the admissions committee for the University of Nevada School of Medicine as well as on multiple hospital committees focusing on ethics, continuing education, quality and credentialing. He was former Chief of Family Practice at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center and currently sits on the hospital’s Board of Governors.
