iServe Residential Lending sponsors "The Power Behind VA Financing"
Published on Mon, Jul 28, 2014 (10:27 a.m.)July 28, 2014
Las Vegas, NV – Local resident and Branch Manager for the iServe Residential Lending Las Vegas Branch, Mary Grove, is making a difference in our community. The VA Home Loan Program is one of the most important benefits available through the Department of Veterans Affairs. The benefit offers active duty, veterans, select reservists and members of the National Guard, an opportunity at home ownership. Unfortunately, the program is underutilized as approximately 6% of the people eligible for the benefit have taken advantage of the opportunity.
Often the VA Home Loan Program is misunderstood or discouraged by many mortgage and real estate professionals. In addition, veterans themselves haven’t embraced the program due to previous experiences or a general misunderstanding of it. With the combined lack of knowledge from recipients of the program and industry professionals themselves, the resource does not get the recognition it deserves.
Please join Mary Grove and First American Title for a free, informative and educational VA Seminar. On August 13, 2014 from 11:00am – 2:00pm at the local Title office of 2500 Paseo Verde Parkway, Suite 120, Henderson, Nevada, 89074, learn about the power of the VA Home Loan Program. “We sincerely hope and look forward to helping and assisting local Nevada veterans”, states Mary. “The VA Home Loan Program is an exceptional program available to veterans and active military. We look forward to serving those who have served us”.
Assisting Mary and presenting will be industry Veteran and Director of Government Lending at iServe, John McDade. John is a longtime industry professional of 39 years and is a Vietnam era Veteran. Considered a national expert on the VA Loan Guaranty Program, he has achieved many milestones in his career, such as, being the first non-builder to chair the Single Family Finance Committee for the National Association of Home Builders, becoming a member of the California Governor’s Task Force on Affordable Housing, a member of the VA MCRV panel and VA consultant to assist Regional Loan Center with builder backlog. John is a graduate of the University of Maryland and has been a guest instructor at several colleges throughout Southern California.
As one of the most under served markets and misunderstood programs, education about VA home financing is essential to unlock its true benefit. “iServe is proud to co-sponsor a seminar about the VA Home Loan Program. We are committed to not only helping those who serve or have served our country, but also to keep our real estate referral partners informed on the Veteran Home Loan Program,” states Co-CEO of iServe Ken Michael.
Join us today and RSVP to Mary Grove, [email protected] or 702-685-1690 for a great opportunity to learn more about the VA Home Loan Program.
