Station Casinos celebrates 50 years in Las Vegas

From humble beginnings (a 5,000-square-foot room with 100 slot machines), Station Casinos has become one of the titans of the Las Vegas Valley over the last five decades, accommodating both visitors and locals and boasting some of the best restaurant, entertainment, gaming and pool party options in Southern Nevada. It’s an empire that just continues to grow and thrive, and this month the company—which now includes Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock Resort, Durango Casino & Resort, Boulder Station, Santa Fe Station, Palace Station and Sunset Station—celebrates its 50th birthday in style with celebrations all month long.

On July 4, most of the Station properties launch their own fireworks displays (presented by Fireworks by Grucci), all at 9 p.m. The shows at all properties (except Durango Casino & Resort) can be viewed for free from surface parking lots, while the Sunset Station show can be viewed for free from either the surface parking lots or the outdoor amphitheater.

The following upgraded fireworks viewing packages can be purchased at Durango Casino & Resort, Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock Resort, starting at $35 for adults and $10 for children.
