Manuel Calas, 60, of Las Vegas, died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 6, 1936, in Sagua De Tanamo, Cuba. A four-month resident, he was a warehouseman for a shipping and receiving business.
He is survived by his mother, Emilia Matos, and two brothers, Hernan Calas and Orlando Calas, all of Cuba; and three sisters, Maria Palomo of Las Vegas, and Maruxa Calas and Margarita Calas, both of Cuba.
Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Anne's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
