Police arrested Jeffrey Mark Wilson, 23, Sunday in Las Vegas, where he is being held without bond. Wilson lives in Center Point, Iowa.
Wilson is accused of killing Jennifer Pribble, 21, during a robbery at Abel's Quik Shop in Bowling Green in the early-morning hours of Feb. 9.
Bowling Green is about 90 miles north of St. Louis.
The killing was captured on videotape by a surveillance camera inside the store. Pike County Sheriff Jim Wells said the tape helped lead police to Wilson.
Five of Pribble's co-workers at Abel's quit after the shooting and have since asked state lawmakers to pass a measure requiring convenience store owners to take a variety of safety precautions.
