Auditions scheduled for Las Vegas Academy

Final auditions to fill a limited number of spots at the Las Vegas Academy will be held from 1-4 p.m. Friday at the visual and performing arts and international studies magnet high school.

Students may audition for dance, drama/theater, technical theater, band, orchestra, vocal music or visual arts. Material must be prepared for the audition.

A placement test will be given for those interested in studying French, Spanish, German or Japanese in the school's international studies program. All academy students must have at least a 2.0 grade point average.
