Man faces life sentence on three-strikes law

John Buckner, 45, was convicted of stealing $350,000 during an armed robbery last year at the Pioneer Citizens Bank in Henderson.

Prosecutors say Buckner has six prior felony convictions in Ohio, including three for aggravated robbery.

A federal jury convicted Buckner of five new charges in the Henderson bank robbery case.

Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 23.
