Off-duty officer bBooked for drunken driving, leaving the scene of an accident

Beverly Wagner, 37, a nine-year veteran of the force, has been suspended with pay pending an internal investigation.

Police reports say Wagner rear-ended another vehicle Tuesday morning.

Police tracked her vehicle after another driver wrote down the license plate number and Wagner was arrested at her home.

This is the second incident involving Wagner and alcohol, police said.

Undersheriff Richard Winget said Wagner was previously suspended for coming to work with a blood-alcohol level at or above the legal limit for drivers.
