Letter: It's about time Vaughn got his Hollywood star

I have been a loyal fan of Vaughn for a very long time. His role as Napoleon Solo on the "Man From U.N.C.L.E." was great, as well as other roles he has done throughout his acting career.

In my opinion he should have received the star 30 years ago. I am a member of some "Man From U.N.C.L.E." fan clubs as well.

I was very fortunate to meet Vaughn at a celebrity fair and auction convention at Bally's hotel-casino last December. I also had my picture taken with him.

He is a great man and a terrific actor who needs recognition on a job well done. I am sure that I speak on behalf of all "Man From U.N.C.L.E." and Robert Vaughn fans that the star was way overdue.
