The editorial said his delaying tactics were instrumental in defeating anti-teen smoking legislation. He became the tool of the tobacco companies.

Now he is delaying debate on the merits of health care legislation.

As the editorial pointed out, his actions may result in the public calling the present session of Congress a do-nothing one.

I feel that Lott is a servant of the tobacco and health insurance companies. He has failed the average American. A typical Republican, pro-rich role.
