Group plans rally in Vegas neighborhood

The group calling itself Anti-Racist Action says the demonstration will begin at 5 p.m. Aug. 29 in a park on the city's southwest side, with the march following through a nearby neighborhood.

Organizers say they expect 1,000 people to take part in the march.

The march will serve as a protest in the shooting deaths of Dan Shersty and Lin Newborn, whose bodies were found in a desert area last month.
