Lyle Eugene Bosley, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 18, 1935, in Superior, Wis. A resident for 27 years, he was a welder in the construction industry and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; five sons, Lyle E. Bosley Jr., Tom Bosley and Timothy Bosley, all of Las Vegas, Lonnie Bosley of Foot Hill Ranch, Calif., and John Bosley of Long Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Brenda Bosley of Las Vegas; one brother, Albert Bosley of Solon Springs, Wis.; two sisters, Ruth Manter of Young Valley, Calif., and Margaret Biscobing of Gordon, Wis.; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
KATHERINE CHRISTIAN
Katherine Christian, 90, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born June 7, 1908, in Alvin, Texas. A resident for seven years, she was a retired teacher.
She is survived by one son, Andrew L. Christian of Henderson; one brother, Robert Shirley of Mesa, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be in Arizona. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
COLIN W. CORKUM
Colin W. Corkum, 82, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 28, 1915, in Nova Scotia. A resident for 18 years, he was a chef.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine; one daughter, Elaine Bautista of Henderson; two sons, Ronald Corkum of Glendale, Calif., and Douglas Corkum of Chicago; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

John Delmar Doty Jr., 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1931, in Hamilton, Ohio. A resident for 12 years, he was a plant manager for Union Carbide Chemicals and a Navy and Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean; two daughters, Sharon V. Morrison and Kelly J. Basham; one brother, Spencer Doty; four sisters, Doris Conyers, Jane Fowler, LaVerne Schulte and Evelyn Earp; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Apostolic Church of Las Vegas. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

John Delmar Doty III, 37, of Las Vegas died Aug. 4 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 13, 1960, in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for 12 years, he was a self-employed gardener.
He was survived by his parents, John and Betty; and two sisters, Sharon V. Morrison and Kelly J. Basham.

ANNA EBEL
Anna Ebel, 91, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 30, 1906, in Sedalia, Mo. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired retail sales clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Branch of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Robert J. Eichenberg, 70, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born May 11, 1928, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired owner of warehouse equipment, a World War II and Korean War Marine Corps and Air Force veteran, a member of the Masons, Shriners, American Legion and Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; one daughter, Kathrine Dixon of Kansas City; three sons, Michael Eichenberg of Overland Park, Kan., Steven Eichenberg of Kansas City and Robert Eichenberg Jr. of Southlake, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Vicente M. Garrido, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born Feb. 23, 1933, in Guam. A resident for 1 1/2 years, he was a retired police officer and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Frances G. Reddick of Las Vegas and Doris G. Sanchez of Dedeco, Guam; two sons, Byron T. Garrido of Dededo and John T. Garrido of Maite, Guam; two sisters, Mariana G. Blas of Dededo and Soledad G. Uncangco of Vallejo, Calif.; three brothers, Anselmo Garrido of Agana Heights, Guam, Joaquin Garrido of Dededo and Juan Garrido of California; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Bernard Glassman, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 11, 1919, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Gail F. Greene of Fairfax, Va.; one son, Jay Glassman of Newport Beach, Va.; two brothers, Stanley Glassman of Ellijay, Ga., and Elliot Glassman of West Haven, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

David Lee Gornel, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 28, 1929, in Chicago. A resident for six years, he was an attorney, a Navy veteran and a member of the Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his companion, Roselie; one son, Gregg Gornel; his mother, Ida Weiss; and one brother, Daniel Gornel.

Arnold "Rocky" Greenberg, 61, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 2, 1936, in New York City. A resident for 26 years, he was a hotel bartender and a member of Bartenders Union Local 165.
He is survived by his wife, Carole; and one sister, Susan Pannone of Manalapan, N.J.

Jammie D. Jackson, 25, of Las Vegas died Aug. 6 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 20, 1972, in Miami. A resident for two years, she was a restaurant worker.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Allen Neff of Pittsburgh and Christian Ryan Jeffries of Gainesville, Fla.; and her mother, Elizabeth Hanmer.

Gerald Gene Lucas, 64, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born April 17, 1934, in Iowa. A resident for 15 years, he was a real estate salesman and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Laverne; four sons, Donald, Gerald, Dana and Karl; one daughter, Elizabeth Sullivan; one sister, Eleanor Clarry; and six grandchildren.

Joseph Mall Jr., 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired technical director at the Sands hotel-casino, a Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of Stagehands Union Local 720.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; and two sons, Steve and Scott, both of Las Vegas.

Edward H. Menkel, 85, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 1, 1913, in Woodsfield, Ohio. A resident for 19 years, he was a grocery store operator.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; two sons, Gary E. Menkel of Las Vegas and David F. Menkel of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Thomas H. Owens, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 1, 1938, in Texas. A resident for 12 years, he worked for a moving company and was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Dorothy M. Owens of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Jennifer K. Anderson of Las Vegas.

Walter Henry Sloan, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Oklahoma. A resident for two years, he was vice president of Amoco Transport Co. in Bermuda, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran who served 30 missions and received the Distinguished Flying Cross with three oak leaf clusters.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; one daughter, Shelley Ann Breslin of New York state; two sons, David Bruce Sloan of Alabama and Roger William Sloan of Illinois; three sisters, Ruth Kibbons of Texas and Joan Power and Rita Tilton, both of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Dween Smith, 64, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 15, 1934, in Detroit. A resident for six years, he was a factory sheet metal worker.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadine; one son, Dween D. Smith, one daughter, Doreen Y. Van Buren, and two sisters, Christine Griffith and Vivian Broom, all of Detroit.

John Lee Sullivan Jr., 40, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 15, 1957, in Cape May Court House, N.J. A resident for 30 years, he was a truck driver, a Marine Corps veteran, a member of the American Legion and the UNLV Police Reserves.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara M.; one daughter, Jennifer Sullivan, his parents, Dorothy H. and John L. Sullivan Sr., two brothers, Patrick S. Sullivan and Curtis L. Sullivan, and one sister, Kathryn E. Howell, all of Las Vegas.

He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Silliman of New York City; one brother, Robert Thrower of Las Vegas; one sister, Shirley Cook of Santa Clara, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Nema "Dee Anne" Vibbard and Lisa Nicole Vibbard, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Gene and Shirley Vibbard, two sisters, Chrissy Vibbard and Becky Vibbard, and one brother, Scott Vibbard, all of White City, Ore.

Arleta J. Zimmerle, 98, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 5, 1899, in Nebraska City, Neb. A resident for 42 years, she was retired from communications at the federal government and was a member of Southgate Chapter 18 Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile SOOB 207.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; four grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
