Summerlin baseball tryouts Saturday

Youth baseball tryouts for players ages 9-16 will be held Saturday and next Saturday for Summerlin AAU teams. The 9-year-old tryout is set for 9 a.m., 10-year-olds at 10, 11-year-olds at 11, 12-year-olds at noon, 13-year-olds at 1 p.m., 14-year-olds at 2 and 15- and 16-year-olds at 3. Tryouts will be held at the Trails Park ballfields in Summerlin across from the library. For more information, contact Larry Robinson at 242-0271.

A winter baseball league is forming in the northwest valley. Games will be played October through February. Managers of youth baseball teams ages 10-under through 16-under wishing to play are asked to contact Larry Robinson at 242-0271.
