Bellagio land will be used for Frank Sinatra Drive

The county needs the property to build Frank Sinatra Drive, which will run parallel to Interstate 15 between Flamingo Road and Tropicana Avenue. The road is expected to reduce the amount of traffic along the Strip.

The county will pay Bellagio $25.58 per square foot; the appraised value of the land is $230 per square foot. Bellagio will build the stretch of roadway. The resort is scheduled to open in mid-October.
