Ella Mae Bourland, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for 27 years, she was born June 17, 1925, in Coachella, Calif.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert; three brothers, Harvey Duncan of Sacramento, William Duncan of Merced, Calif., and Lawrence Duncan of Mentone, Calif.; four sisters, Mildred Allen of Landers, Calif., Evelyn Hayhurst of Redlands, Calif., Marjorie Jessup of Highlands, Calif., and Ruth Tolladay of Reno.

Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

LORNA MAE BOWEN

Lorna Mae Bowen, 63, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1935, in Ione, Wash. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Karla McKinney of LaRue, Texas; two sons, Craig Stenseth of Renton, Wash., and Shawn Bowen of Henderson; one sister, Joan Knapp of Auburn, Wash.; one brother, Al Koenig of Longview, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

LEON CHAFFEE

Leon Chaffee, 73, of Gordon, Neb., died Friday in Gordon. He was born Sept. 25, 1924, in Collinsville, Okla. A former resident of Henderson for 22 years and a former resident of Las Vegas for four years, he was a retired millwright in the titanium industry.

He is survived by two daughters, Terry Lima of Antioch, Calif., and Rhea Cruz of Santacrun, Utah; one son, Leonard Chaffee of Las Vegas; three sisters, Bessie Grady of Fontana, Calif., and Ruby and Lorretta Martin, both of Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

JAMES A. DOLOWAY

James A. Doloway, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Middletown, N.Y. A resident for 24 years, he was a Navy recruiter, a Korean War and Vietnam War Navy veteran, a deacon at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, former president of Ranch 279 FRA and State of Nevada Employees Association, a member of the Zelzah Shrine Temple, Masons and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Gail; two sons, James A. Doloway III of Las Vegas and Timothy L. Doloway of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one daughter, Dinah L. Syrba of Grand Rapids; one brother, John R. Doloway of Lexington, Ky.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 7:30 a.m. Friday in St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

WARREN JOHN FRATIANNO

Warren John Fratianno, 79, of Las Vegas died July 1 in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Cleveland. A resident for 10 years, he was a commercial transport truck driver for 60 years, a World War II Army veteran, a volunteer firefighter in Grass Valley, Calif., and a member of the Italian-American Brotherhood Club.

He is survived by one son, Warren W. Fratianno, and one daughter, Maryann Fratianno, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Louise Chiocchio of Highland Heights, Ohio; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mass will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2121 Western Ave., Suite A-3, is handling arrangements.

ROBERT HOFFPAUIR

Robert Hoffpauir, 84, of Las Vegas died July 1 in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1914, in Rayne, La. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired head mechanic in the mining industry (35 years for the U.S. Gypson Co.) and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one sister.

HOMER L. HUSKEY

Homer L. Huskey, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 22, 1931, in St. Louis. A resident for four years, he was a retired restaurateur, an Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Anderson; four daughters, Jackie Manuel of Winchester, Mo., Kathryn Wells of Tustin, Calif., Tracy Johnson of Manchester, Mo., and Shannon Huskey of Anaheim, Calif.; three sons, Edward Huskey of Eureka, Calif., Kenneth Huskey of Imperial, Mo., and Patrick Huskey of Orange, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Rudy Lekar, 71, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born June 4, 1927, in Gary, Ind. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired Navy petty officer first class and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine; two sons, Rudy Lekar and Damon Lekar, both of Henderson; four sisters, Pauline Davis of Fullerton, Calif., Rose Kellemen of Naples, Fla., Violet Karriman of Henderson and Millie McKay of Portage, Ind.; and one grandchild.

Jeanine K. Littlefield, 60, of Las Vegas, died July 2 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 11, 1938, in Chicago. A resident for 41 years, she was a cocktail waitress.

She is survived by one brother, Joseph Littlefield of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

LILLIAN M. MYERS

Lillian M. Myers, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 15, 1911, in Columbus, Ohio. A resident for 46 years, she was a cosmetology school instructor, a member of Royal Neighbors and Rebekah Lodge.

She is survived by one daughter, Wilma Huston of North Las Vegas; one son, Frank Mounts of Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will be in Arizona.

ALVAH M. OLSON

Alvah M. Olson, 88, of Las Vegas died Jan. 23 in Las Vegas. She was born March 25, 1910, in Perkins County, S.D. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Olson and Betty R. Parker, both of Las Vegas; one son, Thomas Olson of Alaska; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Community Lutheran Church. A private burial will follow. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

ANNA K. PRESVILLE

Anna K. Presville, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 22, 1920, in Erie, Pa. A resident for six years, she was a retired machinist for a manufacturing firm and a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; and one brother, Harold Fluharty.

Services will be Monday in California. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

JOHN W. PRITCHARD

John W. Pritchard, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Chicago. A resident for five years, he was a retired publishing director in education, a retired professor from Wayne State University in Detroit, received his doctorate in education from Wayne State and a was a science fiction author under the pen name Ian Wallace.

He is survived by one son, Alan Pritchard of Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

MARIA DE JESUS RODRIGUEZ D

Maria De Jesus Rodriguez D, 93, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 30, 1905, in Mexico City. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired hospital nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Judith Hernandez Rozo of Las Vegas; one son, Mario Rosso Rodriguez of Mexico City; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will continue until a 7 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

RANDY ALLEN SANDERS

Randy Allen Sanders, 32, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 9, 1965, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for 10 years, he was a salesman.

He is survived by one sister, Christy Sanders of Las Vegas; two brothers, Greg Melvin of Long Beach, Calif., and Glen Bussey of Burlington, Ky.; five nieces; two nephews; and his grandmother, Hazel Halovaty of Tucson, Ariz.

A memorial service was scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

ROLLIN O. SMITH

Rollin O. Smith, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 19, 1916, in Winterset, Iowa. A resident for 18 years, he was a self-employed builder.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta A.; two daughters, Rhonda Hahn and Sheryl Grabo, and one son, Norman Smith, all of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

BARBARA LEE SMITH-HARMON

Barbara Lee Smith-Harmon, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born May 19, 1940, in Ohio. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Swingers Square Dance Club.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Harmon; two daughters, Kathy Norton and Karen Warde, both of North Las Vegas; one son, Ken Heinrich of Atlanta; her mother, Chloe O'Riely of Hemet, Calif.; two brothers, Paul LaPlante of Sacramento and David LaPlante of Hemet; one sister, Janet Amato of Montana; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

James O. Stephens, 59, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 27, 1939, in Wewoka, Okla. A resident for three years, he was a store security officer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, James Stephens Jr., Darryl Stephens and Daniel Stephens, his mother, Idell Winfrey, and one brother, Vernon Stephens, all of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Wilma Lewis of Oklahoma City, Yvonne Sands of Dallas and Mary Dean of Denver; several nieces and nephews; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

A. Wilma Thomas, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Prescott, Ariz. She was born July 24, 1912, in Greenwood, Wis. A resident for 35 years, she was a member of the Lydia Circle.

She is survived by two sons, Bruce Thomas of Reno and Ronald Thomas of Tucson, Ariz.; one daughter, Carolyn Conner of Prescott; one brother, Gilbert Dill of Greenwood; two sisters, Anita Abel of Greenwood and Beulah Macklovich of Willard, Wis.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Gladys J. Vaughn, 70, of Henderson died Monday. She was born March 29, 1928, in Iron Mountain, Mich. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Nevada Child Seekers and an auxiliary member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

She is survived by her husband, Chester; two daughters, Deborah Leary of Santa Clara, Calif., and Pamela Irey of Sacramento; one son, Mark Vaughn of Ogden, Utah; five sisters, Doris Gauthier of Wakefield, Mich., Rolinda Hayman of Garden City, Kan., Carol Ottlinger of Iron Mountain, Connie Zimmer of Dearborn Heights, Mich., and Priscilla Bouche of Janesville, Wis.; two brothers, Roland Bouche of Kenniwick, Wash., and Robert Bouche of Iron Mountain; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
