LV figure skating finalist

Las Vegas has been selected as one of six cities as finalists for the 2002 United States Figure Skating National Championships. The event will be used to select the U.S. team for the Salt Lake City Olympics. Others in the running are Phoenix, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Diego and Portland, Ore. The winning city will be announced in October.
