LV Youth Camerata Orchestra opens twelfth season

Williams, who has performed at Carnegie Hall, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and London's Queen Elizabeth Hall, won top honors at the Guitar Foundation of America's International Guitar Competition. Following a seven-year hiatus, he recently released a trio of CD's and appeared at Lincoln Center in New York.
A native of Quebec, Canada, Dube studied at the Music Conservatory of Montreal and appears in "Mystere" at Treasure island hotel-casino.
The Las Vegas Camerata Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Oscar Carrescia, was the recipient of last year's Governor's Arts Award for service to the arts.
Saturday's program will include "Alfonsina y el Mar" by Ariel Ramirez, and Jose Bragato's "Tres Movimientes Portenos." Admission to the 2 p.m. concert is $2. For additional information, call 455-7340.
