Mack Albertson, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 25, 1919, in Flandreau, S.D. A resident for five years, he was a retired president and CEO of Hydro Conduit Corp., a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Spanish Trail Country Club.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Alice; two sons, Chuck Albertson of Mount Airy, N.C., and Jim Albertson of Denver; one daughter, Roxanne Albertson of Henderson; and six grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
PAUL BRIENZA
Paul Brienza, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Newark, N.J. A resident for two years, he was a retired managing director of a construction company, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Keystone Club and former vice chairman of the Republican Party.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; and two sons, James Brienza of Las Vegas and Paul Brienza of Aztec, N.M.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to St. Jude's Ranch for Children Inc., 100 St. Jude, Boulder City, NV 89005.
BARBARA J. HOWARD
Barbara J. Howard, 42, of Las Vegas died July 2 in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was born Sept. 12, 1955, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by one son, Tyrone Howard, one daughter, Verna Howard, her father, Jim Howard, and three brothers, Franklin Howard, Stanley Howard and Calvin Howard, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Jefferson of Las Vegas and Diana Brown of North Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
RODNEY RODGERS
Rodney Rodgers, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 3, 1918, in New York City. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired manager in the hotel industry, World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Winston Rodgers of Miami and Gordan Rodgers of Newark, N.J.; two daughters, Elaine of Maryland and Elizabeth Kahn of Boca Raton, Fla.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
THELMA N. SCHAUBLE
Thelma N. Schauble, 79, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 18, 1919, in Pennsylvania. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker, a former Tail Twister and scrapbook chairman of the Pierson Lioness Club, Pierson, Fla., and enjoyed bingo, gardening and crafts.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Crook of Las Vegas and Larry Schauble of Jacksonville, Fla.; four daughters, Tina Crafts of Henderson, JoAnn Weaver and Patricia Sowell, both of Pierson, and Sandra Barez of Las Vegas; one sister, Jean Ross of Youngstown, Ohio; one brother, Charles DeShong of Stockton, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be in Pierson.
