Officer shoots man involved in love triangle dispute

Police said the victim was involved in a dispute with another man over a girl the two were dating. The victim pointed a gun at the other man, who then called police.

When police arrived, the suspect had a gun tucked in his waistband. He reached for the gun and then refused to drop it.

The officer, who is on paid administrative leave, shot the man around 2:45 a.m.

The names of those involved were not released.
