Three youths suspected of starting fire that destroyed 12 mobile homes

The blaze broke out Monday afternoon at the storage lot on Yori Avenue. Three firefighters were injured, one of which was taken to Washoe Medical Center for heat exhaustion.

There were no other injuries.

Reno Fire Marshal Larry Farr said witnesses saw a few young boys near the lot about the time the fire was reported.

"We have some witnesses that saw three young males playing with matches in the field," Farr said. "They were heard laughing and seen running down Yori right when the flames kicked up."

Authorities were looking for the suspects.
