Investigation finds 121 undocumented workers at hotel-casino

A Washoe County grand jury indicted 30 of the workers on charges of falsifying employment eligibility documents. So far, four have been arrested.

J.T. Watson, officer in charge of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service in Reno, said charges are being sought only against those workers who used phony identification and Social Security cards to obtain employment.

He added that Atlantis executives are cooperating in the investigation and no sanctions are being sought against the casino.

"The employer is not expected to be a document expert," Watson said.
