Letter: Time for homeowners to become more active

Where are the elected officials? Don't they care? The governor signed the bill back in July 1997. Seems it stopped there! It was hoped that the need for lawsuits would cease.

It is now time for those with problems within their association to get active. Schneider, the Real Estate Division and yours truly can only advise to the best we can. Get vocal. Bug the current elected officials as well as the "wanna-be electeds."

The board where I live is still power-hungry. They ignore the needs of what I call "non-board allies" and listen to their "pets." This is common in many associations. Keep bugging like I do. I am a firm believer in "he/she who asks ... gits" no matter how long it takes.
