Letter: U.S. should stand behind its military

But you better know, if something happened in Italy, they would cry like a baby for help. And they would expect us to send our Marines there to save them.

These Marines were on a training session, and accidents do happen. The United States expects these service people to risk their lives, and they don't stand behind them. Tell me, what's that say for the military and this country. I'm an American citizen, but this makes me feel ashamed.
