Letter: Medical waste treatment shows lack of concern

For all of the words by Silver State about poison, disease, and toxicity of the medical waste, apparently such words are merely opinions and rhetoric that not even Silver State actually follows. The key evidence of that is the photograph of their employee handling such waste with simple coveralls, apparently no gloves, and certainly no respirator ( I thought TB was a respiratory disease).
In the picture, that guy appears no more concerned about the situation than some pet owner who takes their animal to do its business at a local park, meant for the enjoyment of joggers, walkers, and kids.
Of course, as the only county-recognized franchise (much like Mercy Ambulance), they can pretty much do and say anything that they want, and charge for their services accordingly.
