Letter: Performing animals are treated well

Later being in front of our audience, the animal is happy to hear the applause and laughter plus its reward and reassurance of love and friendship of its master. These animals enjoy being combed, bathed, and cleaned to look their best for the show.

Should a person mistreat or be unkind to an animal, it will run from you or hide, or even try to attack you, and of course it will not come to you to sit up or lay down with complete confidence in front of you.

The trainers that I admire immensely is when I see two whales doing full twisting somersaults in unison or three dolphins all turning over at the same time and squealing with delight at hearing the crowds' approval and then receiving its reward and loving touch from its trainer.

The performing animal lives very well, gets all it needs to be happy and healthy from the best veterinarians it's trainer can find when necessary.

So let us all enjoy the performing animal as it enjoys performing for you and its trainer and its good and happy life.
