Storm causes Review-Journal delivery delay
Monday, July 20, 1998 | 10:59 a.m.
Las Vegas' morning newspaper, the Review-Journal, was delivered several hours late this morning because the overnight electrical storm knocked out power to the printing press at about midnight.
The press, which normally starts running at 1 a.m., did not start until about 7 a.m. today.
Terry Duck, Review-Journal operations manager, said papers were delivered to home subscribers throughout the morning. No damage or flooding was reported at the newspaper, which is located near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Bonanza Road.
