White Pine Golf Course expands to 18 holes

The "Back 9" opened last weekend to make the White Pine Golf Course a full 18-hole course.
Community leaders and businesses say the addition will help attract visitors and give local golfers a new challenge.
The course was completed with the help of donated cash, equipment, material and labor from area civic organizations and private donors.
The White Pine Fair and Recreation Board contributed more than $285,000 to the project.
