Contract not renewed for North Las Vegas City Manager

Hinson, 49, will be placed on paid leave as of Monday.
North Las Vegas City Councilwoman Stephanie Smith said Hinson will receive a severance package of about $150,000 once her contract expires.
Hinson was the first black and the first woman to hold the city manager's position.
There have been reports of internal friction between Hinson and some city council members.
