Stefan Ustorf, a 24-year-old center who played for Germany in the Nagano Olympics, has signed a contract with the International Hockey league's Las Vegas Thunder. Ustorf also had an NHL stint with the Washington Capitals, scoring seven goals during parts of two seasons. The Thunder also signed 27-year-old Russian defenseman Nikolai Syrtsov.
