Letter: Republicans two-faced about political campaign funds

However, when the Democrats have taken money from a company, it is a foregone conclusion that a terrible scandal has taken place and our security has been jeopardized because of decisions being influenced by those donations.

Are the Republicans the only ones who can take money from corporations without being influenced? The fact that they are trying to weaken any tobacco legislation couldn't have anything to do with contributions that they got, right?
