Second man arrested in murder-for-hire plot

Heath Iliescu was arrested in Harrisburg, Pa., in connection with the Dec. 14, 1997, shooting death of Bruce Ray Fisher, 27, of Las Vegas. The two were co-owners of Blue Chip Sports, a sports betting service in Las Vegas.
Police said Iliescu went through a mutual friend to hire Jason Paris, 25, of Oak Forest, Ill., to kill Fisher.
Paris lured Fisher out of his apartment and shot him once in the head in the parking lot of the complex, police said.
Paris was arrested May 10 in Illinois. He was extradited to Las Vegas, where he is in custody in the Clark County Detention Center on charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Iliescu is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation to commit murder.
