Letter: Berkley commended for her forthright approach

What is wrong, however, and, in fact, illegal, is to tape private conversations. I wonder who, and why, two years ago someone found the need to do this to a long-standing loyal employee of Sheldon Adelson? Why doesn't that person have the guts to expose them himself?

This advice was not only sound but is the practice of all Strip casinos and moguls and all private citizens of wealth or position, as well as corporations, financial institutions and any group looking for favoritism, such as the AARP or AFL/CIO.

What could Berkley have done to cause Adelson to attack her with such vengeance. In my opinion, there must be some personal agenda. I doubt his motives, political or not, in this situation.

Berkley should be congratulated for her honest and forthright approach to a subject that we all know is the factual truth and an everyday occurrence.
