Teen arrested on vandalism charges

Police discovered the damaged cars early Sunday at the city yard on Mira Loma Drive.

Several vehicles had smashed windows, lights and dented doors. Total damage was estimated at more than $10,000.

The suspect was located when investigators found his wallet at the scene.

The youth was booked into Wittenberg Hall for juveniles on several charges of vandalism.

Police have not ruled out the possibility of more arrests as the investigation continued.
