Letter: Taking exception with Ralph Nader's characterization of gaming industry

Nobody can make us do anything if we don't want to. The golden rule is to do unto others what you like them to do unto you.

His accusation that the gambling industry is more brazen than the tobacco and alcohol industry makes no sense at all. Too many laws are already taking away our freedoms.

The McCain tobacco tax bill reminds me of the gangster era. It gave a sort of limited protection to those passing the envelope. The real winners are a small clique of overpaid shysters.

I am no advocate, but my advice to Ralph Nader is to get back to the kitchen and, for goodness sake, get a life.
