Mayors to receive souvenirs

Volunteers on Tuesday stuffed more than 1,000 bags of souvenirs in preparation for the conference that begins on Friday.

Many businesses donated the items, which include chocolate replicas of the Reno Arch, a city bus pass, mug, pens, pencils, and a computer mouse holder.

In addition, mayors will receive a pair of binoculars and a cowboy hat - appropriate attire for attending the Reno Rodeo, which begins Saturday.
