Harrigan to pitch in Japan

Former UNLV pitcher Lori Harrigan will be with the USA Softball women's national team when it attempts the quad, an unprecedented fourth consecutive title at the ISF Women's World Championship in Fujinomiya City, Japan, July 20-30. Harrigan and 10 other members of the gold medal team from the 1996 Olympic Games are on the team. The 1998 World Championship is the major showdown of world softball powers heading into the 2000 Olympics at Sydney, Australia.
