'Motel Vegas' at gallery

This is the first showing in Las Vegas of this body of work originally shown at O.K. Harris in New York. Las Vegas artist Fred Sigman presents an anthropological field study filled with all of the romance associated with the early days of motor travel mixed with evidence that this '50s dream has fallen on hard times.

Sigman has exhibited in many contemporary art venues throughout the United States.

The Lost Vegas Gallery is at 101 E. Charleston Blvd. (upstairs at the Arts Factory). The free artist's reception is Friday from 6-8 p.m. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon until 4 p.m., or by appointment.
