Margaret May 'MarMay' Boop, 92, of Carlsbad, Calif., died Sunday in Carlsbad. She was born Dec. 5, 1905, in Louisiana. A former resident of 30 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Foster C. Boop II of Carlsbad; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

RUTH MARY CAMPBELL

Ruth Mary Campbell, 51, of Las Vegas died Wednesday at a local hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Staten Island, N.Y. A resident of 32 years, she was a co-owner of Campbell Printing. She was a volunteer for New Vista Ranch, the Special Olympics and the March of Dimes and a member of the German Shepherd Dog Club.

She is survived by her husband, James Campbell; two daughters, Jennifer Campbell and Jessica Campbell, and one son, Dr. James Campbell Jr., all of Las Vegas; one sister, Joan Yalango of Lake Hopatcong, N.J.; one brother, Robert Repetti of Lehigh, Fla; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. A celebration of life will be 10:30 a.m. until noon services Monday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family requests donations be made to New Vista Ranch, 7875 N. Rainbow Blvd.

VERONICA J. CARTWRIGHT

Veronica J. Cartwright, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday at a local hospital. She was born April 18, 1917, in Anacortes, Wash. A resident of six years, she was a retired executive in mortgage banking.

She is survived by two sons, William J. Cartwright Jr. of Las Vegas and Robert H. Cartwright of Corpus Christi, Texas; one daughter, Bonnie Jean Parker of Houston; one son, Frederick Daniel Cartwright of Las Vegas; one sister, Betty Dahl of Bellevue, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be noon Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial will be in Anacortes.

The family requests that donations be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church outreach program.

JENNIE J. IMPEDUGLIA

Jennie J. Impeduglia, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Boston. A resident of 19 years, she was a hair dresser.

She is survived by two sons, John Michaels of Las Vegas and Michael St. John of New Hampshire; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Chapel of Spring Valley, 7175 W. Oquendo Road.

ELIZABETH GREENE

Elizabeth Greene, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday at a local hospice. She was born March 10, 1915, in Texas. A resident of two years, she was a beautician for 40 years.

She is survived by one son, Fred Greene of Las Vegas.

JOSEFINA HERNANDEZ

Josefina Hernandez, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 19, 1908, in Cuba. A resident of 29 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Ramona Garcia and Hildelisa Alonso, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Norberto Hernandez of Las Vegas and Macario Hernandez of Miami; two sisters, Rosa Piedra and Julia Naranjo, both of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services were scheduled at 9 a.m. today at Eden Vale Memorial Park.

JERRY D. HOLMES

Jerry D. Holmes, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 30, 1938, in Topeka, Kansas. A resident of 29 years, he was a retired master electrician at a hotel and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kay; one daughter, Louise Holmes Mulvey of Pahrump; one son, Douglas Mark Holmes, and one brother, John Holmes, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

ANNETTE CLARICE MAHON

Annette Clarice Mahon, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 16, 1925, in Helena, Mont. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ray; one son, Patrick Mahon; two daughters, Kellie Mahon and Cindy Harris; one brother, Jack Hartwig; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at A Place for Miracles, 2160 W. Charleston Blvd.

WALTER L. MAHONY

Walter L. Mahony, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday at a local hospital. He was born Dec. 1, 1918, in Taiopi, Minn. A resident of 45 years, he was an airline pilot and a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran. A member of the Masons, Zelzah Shrine Temple, York and Scottish Rite, Tin Lizzies of Las Vegas, the VFW, Q-B Retired Pilots, Sitting Ducks and Zelzah Nomad Travel Club.

He is survived by wife, Deborah; two sons, Bill Harbin of Anchorage, Alaska, and Bob Mahoney of Las Vegas; five brothers, Bob Mahoney of Lincoln Neb., Jerry Mahony of Minneapolis, Glen Mahoney of Austin, Minn., Jim Mahoney and Gordon Mahoney, both of Rochester, Minn.; one sister, Mary Van Der Hayden of Rochester; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bunkers Mortuary 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Bunker Chapel, same location. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.

RAYMOND ARNOLD MOSS

Raymond Arnold Moss, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1929, in Chicago. A resident of 11 years, he was a retired lithographer in the printing business.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; one daughter, Laura L. Moss of Van Nuys, Calif.; one son, Perry R. Moss of Chandler Ariz.; one brother, Fred Moss of Chicago; and one sister, Betty Kruckow of Oak Lawn, Ill.

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

DOROTHY T. RAINEY

Dorothy T. Rainey, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 29, 1925, in Philadelphia. A resident for 38 years, she was in retail sales.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Tatro of Texas; three daughters, Karen Combs of Nevada, Annamarie Tatro of Texas and Sue Rainey of Missouri; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were Thursday at Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

ANN WEISS

Ann Weiss, 94, of Las Vegas died Tuesday at a local care center. She was born July 15, 1903, in England. A resident of 48 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Frank and Robert; one daughter, Gloria Phinick of Santa Clara, Calif; one brother, Louis Taylor of Cleveland; one sister, Elizabeth Goldman of Phoenix; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
