Guinn to be endorsed by mayors

One mayor conspicuously missing from the list, however, is Las Vegas Mayor Jan Jones, who is running for governor on the Democratic side.

Guinn, a Republican, has scheduled a Thursday press conference where his campaign said he will gain the endorsement of Mayors Bruce Breslow of Sparks, Ken Carter of Mesquite, Bob Ferraro of Boulder City, Mike Franzoia of Elko, Jim Gibson of Henderson, Ray Masakyo of Carson City, Mike Montandon of North Las Vegas and Ken Tedford of Fallon.

Guinn's campaign said he will also be endorsed by Reno Mayor Jeff Griffin and Mayors Ray Espinosa of Lovelock, Myrna Lumsden of Gabbs and Jack Smith of Ely.
