Lester Ardell Anderson, 57, of Las Vegas died May 28 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 22, 1940, in Arcadia, Wis. A resident of eight years, he was a night auditor, a Vietnam war Army veteran and a member of the VFW.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home., 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

DUSTIN G. CARTER

Dustin G. Carter, 25, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 2, 1973, in Santa Rosa, Calif. A resident of eight years, he was a truck driver for a lumber company.

He is survived by his companion, Monica Lopez; one son, Bailey Carter of Las Vegas; his mother, Leanne White of Santa Rosa; his father, William Carter of Pioche; and his stepfather, Thomas White of Santa Rosa.

Services will be 7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

The family suggests that donations be made to a charity of choice.

LINDA MARIE COLE

Linda Marie Cole, 50, of Henderson died Monday at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 10, 1948, in Indianapolis. A resident for 15 years, she was a detective at the Riviera hotel-casino, a member of Eastern Star and honored queen Job's Daughters.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Cole; one daughter, Katherine Cole of Henderson; one sister, Donna Ross, and one brother, Marvin Ogle Jr., both of Indiana.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Davis Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

ARDELLA H. DRINKARD

Ardella H. Drinkard, 56, of Henderson died Monday at a local hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1942, in Los Angeles. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired manager in data processing.

She is survived by one son, Van McGee of Santa Ana, Calif; one daughter, Karen Ward of San Dimas, Calif.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements were handled by Affordable Cremation & Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

LINDA L. EURICH

Linda L. Eurich, 47, of Las Vegas died Thursday at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 26, 1950, in Elk City, Okla. A resident of 29 years, she was a court trascriptionist.

She is survived by her husband, Richard N.; two sons, Richard N. Eurich II and Michael J. Eurich, her mother, R. Elouise Hill, and one brother, Brad Davis, all of Las Vegas.

Services will be 5 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

FRED HADDAD

Fred Haddad, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 27, 1920, in Seattle. A resident for four years, he was a credit union banker and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Tokchu; and one brother, Anwar Haddad of Seattle.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Full Gospel Korean Church. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

PHYLLIS J. HAIRE

Phyllis J. Haire, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1923, in Shelby, Miss. A resident for three years, she was a retired nurse's aide.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E.; five sons, Charlie Haire, Michael Haire and Carl Haire, all of Salem, Ore., Ray Haire of Pahrump and Roy Haire of Las Vegas; four daughters, Nancy Jo Bell of Las Vegas and Pamela Thompson, Bobbie Jean Erickson and Peggy Lynn Styles, all of Lancaster, Calif.; two brothers, Bobby Holt and Jimmy Holt, both of Mississippi; three sisters, Lucille Roberson and Mary Catherine Williamson, both of Water Valley, Miss., and Patsy Bowlan of Olive Branch, Miss.; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

ANTONY EDWARD HARVILLE

Antony Edward Harville, 105 days, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born March 6, 1998, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his mother, Jamey JoAnne Porter; his father, Corey Edward Harville; two brothers, Brendan Harville and Darrian Harville; grandparents, Mary Fillmore, Ed and Doris Harville, Sharon Alexander and Jesse III and Lisa Porter; and great-grandparents, Cecil and Margaret Adams and Jesse Porter Jr.

Services will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Central Christian Church, 3415 S. Mojave Road.

SARAH L. HAYNES

Sarah L. Haynes, 72, of Henderson died Monday at a local hospital. She was born June 20, 1926, in New York City. A resident of 23 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Reeves of Henderson; and two sons, Phil Paulin of South West Vienna, Va., and Adam Haynes of Henderson.

Graveside services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

BILL HOWARD SR.

Bill Howard Sr., 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 2, 1907, in Hempin, Okla. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired construction contractor.

He is survived by three brothers, Everett W. Howard, James W. Howard and Thurman S. Howard, all of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

DIANE MEYER

Diane Meyer, 54, of Las Vegas died Monday at a local hospital. She was born Sept. 16, 1943, in Cleveland. A resident of 20 years, she was a casino executive.

She is survived by her mother, Frances Gebura of Cleveland; three brothers, Marty Gebura and Ron Gebura, both of Las Vegas, and John Gebura of West Salem, Ohio; two sisters, Cathy Blicha of West Salem and Janet Bible of Cleveland.

RENE L. MOUTON

Rene L. Mouton, 87, of Henderson died June 13 in Henderson. He was born Oct. 25, 1910, in Crowley, La. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired civil service supervisor and Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Mouton; one daughter, Linda Gleason of Henderson; two grandaughters and two great-grandsons.

Arrangements were handled by Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

VIRGINIA ENGLEMAN NELSON

Virginia Engleman Nelson, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 28, 1922, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for three years, she was an attendance officer for the Riverside (Calif.) Unified School District for many years, part owner of Engleman's Men's Wear from 1956-1968, a member of the PEO Sisterhood-Chapter B.V. and had a longtime family history with the First United Methodist Church of Riverside where her grandfather was a minister for many years.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Engleman Sager, and one son, Robert W. Engleman, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Betty Jane Swing of Riverside; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Riverside. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

JUDITH SANCHEZ-ORTIZ

Judith Sanchez-Ortiz, 27, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born, Sept. 3, 1970, in Acapulco, Mexico. A resident of 19 years, she was a waitress at the Rio hotel-casino.

She is survived by her companion, Francisco Mares; three sons, Francisco Adrian Mares, Alex Mares and Mauricio Angelo Mares, all of Las Vegas; her parents, Bernardo Sanchez and Ignacia Ortiz of Acapulco; three brothers, Oscar Sanchez of San Francisco and and Jesus Sanchez and Abraham Sanchez, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Mirna Maria Sanchez of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at the same location. Burial will follow.

JOSEPH JAMES PACIOLLA

Joseph James Paciolla, 30, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1967, in New Jersey. A resident of two years, he was a bartender in a restaurant.

He is survived by his father, Dominick Paciolla of Texas.

The burial will be in Arlington, Texas.

DOMINICK ANTHONY PERONE

Dominick Anthony Perone, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 11, 1924, in Hartford, Conn. A resident of four years, he was a maintenance engineer for Farmers Insurance and a World War II Coast Guard veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marie L. Perone; one son, Anthony D. Perone of Frazier Park, Calif.; one daughter, Donita M. Caut of Henderson; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church.

STEVEN LUKE ROSANIA

Steven Luke Rosania, 34, of Las Vegas died June 13 in Las Vegas. He was born April 28, 1964, in New Jersey. A resident of one year, he was a president in the banking business.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Linda Rosania.

The burial will be in New Jersey.

MELVIN SCHOESSOW

Melvin Schoessow, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 24, 1924, in Wisconsin. A resident of 18 years, he was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; three sisters, Esther Boettcher and Claudine Buchert, both of Wisconsin, and Evelyn Herzog of Ohio.

Arrangements were handled by Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road.

CARMELLA SCIARABBA

Carmella Sciarabba, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday at a local hospital. She was born April 9, 1923, in Eppedit, Pa. A resident of 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Sciarabba of Las Vegas; two daughters, Lucille Danzig of Henderson and Rose Mary LaDolce of Las Vegas; one son, Andrew Sciarabba of Ithaca, N.Y.; two brothers, Samuel DiProjetto and Joseph DiProjetto, both of Rochester, N.Y.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. graveside services Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

GENE FRANCIS SHAFFER

Gene Francis Shaffer, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April, 17, 1937, in Kansas. A resident of six months, he was a minister.

He is survived by one son, James Shaffer of California.

The burial will be in Clovis cemetery in California.

DR. GARRY C. WAITE

Dr. Garry C. Waite, 51, of Las Vegas died Friday. He was born Feb. 23, 1947, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a dentist, a doctor of dental surgery, a diplomat of American College of Forensic Examiners, faculty of American College of Forensic Examiners, a board certified forensic examiner and a board certified medical examiner.

He is survived by his wife, Paula A. Waite; two daughters, Gabrielle W. D'Ambra of San Diego and Jacqueline S. Waite of Las Vegas; four sons, Ryan K. Waite, Mason G. Waite, Spencer A. Waite and Oliver P. Waite, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the LDS Hillpointe Ward, 9011 Hillpointe Road. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday at Memory Gardens.

HERMAN ADDISON WARDLAW

Herman Addison Wardlaw, 95, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 3, 1902, in Milford, Texas. A resident of six years, he was a distributor in the dairy industry and a member of the El Maida Temple Five Point Lodge in El Paso, Texas.

He is survived two sons, Tommie Laverne Wardlaw of Henderson and David Gail Wardlaw of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

The burial will be in El Paso, Texas.

PATRICIA ANN WILLIAMS

Patricia Ann Williams, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 4, 1945, in Los Angeles. A resident of 26 years, she was a retired cashier in the hotel-casino industry.

She is survived by three sons, Antoine Williams, Kurt Williams and Keith Williams, and one daughter, Tonia Williams, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Paul Jackson of Hayward, Calif., and Eldwin Jackson of Vallejo, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the same location. Burial will follow.

CAROL J. WIMBERLY

Carol J. Wimberly, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 8, 1936, in Ellsworth, Wis. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; two daughters, Lezlie Hendrickson of Phoenix and Laurie Bishop of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Cheryl Johnson of Las Vegas and Linda Wimberly of Riverside, Calif.; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A private burial will follow.
