Letter: Former Review-Journal subscriber has switched over the the Sun

I'm responding to Brian Greenspun's article "Setting the Record Straight." As a recent resident (six months) and a "bleeding heart" liberal, I really enjoyed his commentary about the Review-Journal.

I must admit I subscribed (note the "ed") to the R-J when I first arrived, but after reading the Sun in the weekend editions, subscribing to the Sun a couple of weeks ago, and finally the article by Brian, I canceled the R-J.

I must admit the R-J did publish a few of my letters to the editor, but they probably did that because they get so few liberal responses. I realize that I will still be getting the R-J on holidays and weekends and I appreciate their in-depth stories that they print in those issues.

Of course, the Sun has conservative writers contributing to your op-ed page, but that is the liberal way, allowing other points of view to be heard.

One other item. The crossword puzzles are much more difficult in the Sun. I can complete the R-J's puzzles quite easily while I cannot the Sun's. Is this an indication of the intellect of the R-J readers versus the Sun's readers?
